Mercury Marine has a strong reputation for excellence in the marine community. So when the company came to Cineviz to launch its new Joystick Piloting Inboard (JPI) we were ready for the challenge. Working with cutting-edge Mercury Marine technology they challenged us to make a display where the user could control a 3D yacht on a screen with Mercury’s new JPI for the famed Miami Boat Show. Our engineers, programmers and artists went to work deciphering code and designing a full 3D world of Miami and Biscayne Bay. We then built a simulator program to demonstrate the JPI capability, allowing show attendees to take a test drive right on the show floor. The experience spoke for itself, giving boat owners a firsthand feel of a great new product.

"Under an extremely tight timeline, Cineviz created an interactive demonstration for a new product we were launching at North America's premier boat show. The demo was easy to use, mimicked functionality of the new product and utilized actual parts.
The Cineviz team provided all the parts required to run the demo and had a person on-site for the show to assist with technical issues. Their quick turnaround and quality product made for a great display during the show."
